Trail Type: Mixed Gravel/Dirt Road & Singletrack Technicality: Moderate Technical Sections & Fast Smooth Winding Bliss Exertion: Moderate Pets: OK Map: Hartly Trails Directions: Take 21st Ave, East from I-35. Turn right on Woodland Ave. Turn left on Hartley Rd. when you see the sign for the nature center. Park at center, trail head is obvious to your left as you walk toward the buildings.
Hartly offers a nice pet friendly set of trails for the whole family. Wide dirt road and double track cut through the parks core with nice moderately technical single track looping to the sides.

PeidmontLength: 10 miles
Trail Type: Single Track Technicality: High, Multiple Rock Sections and Built Wood Stunts Exertion: High Pets: Official Position Unknown Maps: COGGS Topographic Map, COGGS Satellite Map Directions: Take West Skyline Parkway West to Haines and watch for COGGS trail signs.
Great technical trail full of wood bridges and exposed rock stunts. Best ride in the area.

Trail Type: Dirt & Grass Single Track Technicality: Medium to High Exertion: Medium High Pets: OK Map: Spirit Mountain Directions: Take Exit 249 from I-35 and turn South. Take a right and follow West Skyline Parkway to Mountain Drive and turn Left. Follow signs to Spirit Mountain Ski Chalet and park at the lodge.
Great trails with more than the average vertical for the area. Lots of tight urban style cornering and great views of Lake Superior.
